Welcome to Hidden Nindies, a new feature where we put the spotlight on some of the lesser known indie games on current Nintendo platforms! We don’t have a strict line drawn for determining which games meet this criteria, but the spirit of the feature is to both expose Nintendo gamers to neat games that they may not have heard much about and to help indie game developers gain some attention for the quality games that they have built which may have fallen a bit under the radar on the Nintendo platforms (even if they were more successful elsewhere.) So anyone who enjoys telltale's stuff should check this out. It's really solid. This game has a really good branching dialogue system that's leagues better than what anything else with that kind of system can do and while that dialogue system is most of what this game has to offer it's still well worth checking out... So this is a really clever use of the Wii remote. Basically this was an arcade game back in the day and the cabinet literally had a light gun and holster set up of some sort and the idea behind it is that you keep the gun holstered at all times until you are ready to shoot. This is replicated on the Wii by keeping the wii remote pointed down until that little window of opportunity when you can shoot... (more)
