Very curious about this one. The first chunk of the trailer feels like the most literal possible version of open-world Kirby, but then of course there's the twist. This game's quality in my mind is a pretty strong function of what exactly "the world beyond" has in store.

Can't say I had The Kirby Show on my Bingo card but here we are. Optimistic about this.

Seems quite a few people had the same thought I did when I first saw this trailer!

This thing looks fantastic, and WHAT A TRAILER. It boggles my mind they can produce a trailer that brilliant in one Direct, then you get garbage trailers in a lot of others. So weird.

Anyway, Kirby is not my thing so I will probably borrow this from the library, but if it had been a new Mario (which I thought it might be in those opening shots!) I would be there in a heartbeat.

WHERE OUR NEXT MARIO, NINTENDO.

Also is it just me or does this visually look like a significant leap forward? I dunno, maybe it is just a combination of polish, textures, etc, but when I saw it it really did feel like a whole generational leap to me, more than a lot of other games.

EDIT: Just watched the trailer again and MAN am I tempted. That looks so, so good.
