@ShadowlinkI've read a review where someone said SS is an exploration of discovering oneself/sexuality. They actually made a compelling case. They discussed Link, Zelda, and Ghirahim each representing male, female, and bi sexuality. @anon_mastermindYeah I noticed weird stuff like that and it continues on later. Some pits just don't do damage and I'm not sure why. Yes Zero, this game is the hardest Zelda (I can't speak on ANY handheld Zelda though, though I doubt it anyway) in like, well over a decade. I'd say it's the hardest since the NES titles since I don't recall OOT or LTTP being too hard either. I've died and have been forced to use potions/hunt for hearts numerous times. The game also doesn't shower you with random hearts or ammo. They only provide bombs/seeds, etc if you NEED them for a puzzle that's around, and even then they give you a small amount. I believe you only get 5 seeds when you find them (which is rare anyways) around... I'm almost always low on seeds. Like, I've been empty on seeds, I go and look for ammo, and I just won't get any. Any other Zelda woulda given me 50 seeds at the first enemy or blade of grass I destroyed. This game simply did away with that hand holding. Oh and rupees are actually useful this time around. There is a point to rupees/collecting/rationing. It all feels so good. |
