Discuss Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters in its
official discussion thread!
Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters is the sequel to NES game
Kid Icarus and would be the last
Kid Icarus game for nearly 20 years, until the 2010 announcement of
Kid Icarus: Uprising.
In this platformer action game, scrolling can occur in all directions, unlike the original NES game (which limited the player's ability to backtrack). As a new addition to the series, Pit can flap his small wings while in the air to slow his descent, sort of like the Raccoon power used by Mario in
Super Mario Bros. 3. Pit's main weapon is his bow, which comes with an unlimited supply of arrows.
