Well damn, Nintendo throwing the surprise post-E3-timing Nintendo Direct. Last year’s was so ridiculously late in the summer that I honestly presumed we’d see something similar this year. I did question my belief a moment when it occurred to me that Pikmin 4 is going to need some attention and it’s only a month away… but nonetheless, Nintendo announced a Nintendo Direct for tomorrow. In an attempt to make some fun for even the smallest slice of this site, I put together another Predict-a-ton for this year on short notice. I would have loved to put a little more thought into it and done a little more prior research, but this is what we get this year. What’s that about a gift horse’s mouth, or something? Anyway, let’s take a break from Tears of the Kingdom and Let’s-a-go!.. (more)

To start things off, I must apologize for the lateness on this game’s release. With E3 officially dead, the whole cadence of the month has been a bit off. As of this post, Nintendo hasn’t even announced they’re doing anything at this time frame. However after watching some of the other presentations, I realized we should still give it a shot in case Nintendo surprises us with a Nintendo Direct on a very short notice. Thus, the ‘participation’ period for this year’s Predict-a-ton is from now until a Nintendo Direct starts, whether that’s this coming week or later. I sure hope they do one for Tuesday or Wednesday this week (which is my suspicion). I suppose there’s no harm in keeping the game alive until the next Direct, so long as I cancel out anything that ends up becoming determined ahead of time. So enough rambling, Let’s-a-go!.. (more)

After two years of hibernation, the E3 Predict-a-ton is back!!! Last year in particular was a weird one for everybody and it was the first year in decades without an E3. Pseudo events tried to replace it but Nintendo didn't really participate. This year, E3 is all-virtual but Nintendo is all-in! So in the spirit of the season I was excited to resurrect the Predict-a-ton for E3 2021! Let's-a-go!.. (more)

Hey all! Believe it or not, In Retrospect, my nearly 7 years in the making musical action platformer / runner game, is nearing completion! It might even release this year! (More likely is next year, but I’m trying to be optimistic.) I need to get some serious feedback before I can finalize some things and pull the trigger on a release... (more)
