Sorry about that, I ended up passing out a minute later... then later on friends called up and we *finally* did our questing together. Fought A Rathalos, Barioth, and Uragaan each for the first time.
Tried to fight Rathalos online (I haven't reached him in the single player yet) by myself yesterday. Ell-Oh-ell.
...I actually didn't do too bad. But I only had about 1 minute left, he was right near death... then he KO'd me. Abandoned at that point, no way I'd kill him in time.
I'm not quite sure yet. Might have interviews this week and I have a website still to build, plus NANOWRIMO this month... I'm usually on Friday nights with local friends of mine, but I may jump on Thursday as well is possible. We shall see!
Why abandon? Saving supplies? You lose all of your spoils if you abandon..but I don't think theres really anything you lose.. Take your lumps, hombre! We all have, haha.
Oh, and if you can't make Thursday, I'm sure another night can be arranged or someone else will play with you then. Congratulations on hitting 18+! Its a whole new world out there, haha!
Played for about 5 hours this morning with my hunting group online. Got to HR22! Fought some new monsters that uh... I don't know if I want to fight them by myself. Ever.
Wanna play tonight guys? I think I'm going to be playing around 8-11 PM todat North American Eastern Standard Time of course. Also, I'm shopping for a wireless keyboard to communicate. I was thinking about this one. I thought if I bought one (wireless gaming keyboard), I'd like to buy a decent one I can use on my PC for videogames but there doesn't seem to be any decent ones for the price I'm willing to pay. Then I realized I probably don't want a wireless gaming keyboard in the first place because of lag.
Then I thought about Wii Speak, now it's $15. Is it even worth it anymore? I mean, there's a new headset coming out, but it's tethered, I'm guessing to the console.
I don't mind WiiSpeak, but it only works if the person you're talking to has it also. 75% of the people I play with DON'T have WiiSpeak. Furthermore, the quality isn't always tip top. I have the best luck with Anand, but more often than not I get stuck with other people saying "huh? What'd you say? I didn't hear you.."
