I tried to do the Double Uragan thing, but Anand refused to let me do it every time it came up, and Fabz aborted after fainting once, leaving me high and dry. Thumbs down, all around..

The game punished you for never completing the single-player.

I don't mind that there haven't been new events for awhile. I understand that they put focus on the new portable game. It came out in Japan I can't wait to see when it comes to America and what system it will be on.

If you want hunting partners, I should be able to help you out. I will make weapons and armor suitable for the quests so it isn't ridiculus. Just post here when you hunt and I'll see if I can join.

I don't think that Capcom can just add new events. I bet they're all pre-programmed onto the disc.

yes they are run by the server, not the disc. Therefore, it is possible to get new quests and even new monsters if capcom really wanted to.

I really want to play a quest where i'm surrounded by hundreds of tiny baby pecos :P so cute

Like, you scan monsters for your handbook, right? Thats on the disc.
How could they put a new monster on there? Would it just not be scannable?
And of course, theres no patch stuff for Wii games.

New quests? Sure. New monsters? I highly doubt it.

Jhen was definitely on the disc.

Capcom COULD set it up so that you could access some stuff online, but I'm almost positive that the content is on the disc, waiting to be unlocked/accessed. It would probably be too unstable otherwise. And you can tell by the way they keep recycling Events and such. I wonder how the Mario Kart Tournaments are set up. In that case, Nintendo might be able to use simple variables to leverage the disc content.

Yeah, Jhen is scannable. I think if they put a new monster in there, the disc wouldn't know what to do.

But yeah, I don't see why they couldn't make a 12 Jaggi event, or something.
