What?? Is that possible? I screwed up on Jhen so badly, haha. I screwed up the binder (what is the exact purpose of that, by the way?) and fell in about 5 times. I did punish the tusks quite a bit, though.
But, yeah, it was fun last night. Pretty successful! I thought I was just going to fail every quest after not playing for 2-3 months.
No, my natural cowardliness and aversion to pain served me well. I'm not like you guys, haha. I don't hang around when monsters start converging. I just hit one with a dung bomb and start running around like Jesse Owens.
That hammer was pretty awesome for stunning folk. And it seemed like one of you guys had wide-range, or something.

I have no idea if hammering the head does as much damage as the cannon, but I love the view when he swings his tusks across the ship.
During the burnt offering quest I did have wide range and I just try to stack as many boosts as possible when I do. With my hammer though I have to apologize. I tend to do the charged smash alot and I caught one of you guys seemingly every other time and sometimes I caught both of you.
Oh, does wide-range share all of your boosts? I thought it was just for potions.
Don't worry about the hammer. I swing my great sword around like a maniac, as well. I think all of us were batting each other around yesterday. It actually helped me a couple of times, haha.
I always want to bring a gun, too, but gunner armor is just too weak for those high-level guys. One run of bad luck, and you're OUT.
It shares seeds like might, adamant and the elemental ones too. I know what you mean about gunner armor. The first quest I got oneshotted twice in a row, but that lagi+ armor just makes gunning seem really powerful. So I try it out every once in a while, in order to break the monotony.

peco = vangis (peco's easy so attach is all i need. hammer jaggi+baggi. vangis. whatever weapon i feel like Ludr = vangis. hammer ian = vangis, same as peco. hammer los = same as peco. hammer barroth = same as peco. hammer gobul = vangis. hammer giggi = vangis = lance blos = escadora with tremor resistance OR a mix set with earplugs, good luck, and tremor resistance. lance barioth = depends. damascus if i play with noobs to heal them (my damascus set has wide range) or vangis. lance lagi = vangis. lance ura = vangis or escadora (escadora has tremor proof). hammer agn = escadora (tremor proof and no elemental damage). lance jho = damascus (dragon +25, wide range to help others etc.). lance alatreon = damascus (see jho). lance jhen = vangis (helps with nator + to see when he's going to charge). hammer caedus = vangis or lagi. lance
