I beat him in under ten minutes with two other gunners and a GS user. We were using cluster shots. I like that strategy, the only thing is that involve wyvern claws, so I don't use it often.
And with that I think I've done much of what I wanted to do in MH. I defeated mega Ala and did the rage match (two jho event quest). Is there (Dramatic stare into camera) anything esle that can pose a challenge to me?
I played online for the very first time over the weekend with my sister, and we completed the first two quests. I'm still at HR 1.
Anyway, I'd be up for playing with yous guys, but since I'm only at the beginning I doubt that would turn out well (without knowing much about the game). It would assume that it would be best if I stuck with other newbies, since I can only go on the early quests, right?
@canonj It's more fun when you stick with people around your level, but I could join you with some weaker armor and a weak switch-axe (which I am still learning to use), and I wouldn't overpower you too much.
I don't know about Portable 3rd, either way we discussed this already. Actually, there's not much left for me to do in the game, hunting wise. There is just the collector in me that compels me to keep going. Now I'm reconnecting with the Sword and Shield. It's a lot more useful that I give it credit for. Of course it also depends on what you're hunting. I'm also going to make an awakened hammer set for Kurogane... at this point I'm not even using lances anymore. lol. I still want to find and upgrade the last two I don't have just for the hell of it.
A couple of days ago Capcom revomed a few servers. I think there were 9 recruiting servers, now there's only 4. It doesn't really make a difference since most people only play in one server in each category anyway but it's still worth noticing. I wonder how how long Capcom is going to maintain its servers...
