@Fabz@FabzYes, I agree. I check other peoples HR, just not my own. I know my abilities but I don't know theirs. Still, I've seen some high ranking hunters who barely know what they're doing, or just don't care. Rank is pretty much irrelevant after you reach 51. Still, I'm curious to see if I get a special title once I reach HR 100... (don't spoil it for me.) Monster Hunter so far has been amazing. I had never played anything like this before.--Damn it Smerd, I can't stop looking at your icon. I'm going to have to play Muramasa soon. It's till sitting wrapped on my video rack.--back on topic, even so, I don't think I'm going to buy the portable iterations. Firstly because I don't have a PSP, and even if I did, I understand that there is no online infrastructure for the game. I've said it once before but I would not have played nearly as much as I have if it weren't for online. Not only does it make the hunts more manageable, it's just more fun that way. There's also the fact that your materials, weapons and armor cross over so you can boss around less aggressive monsters with your superior armaments. Speaking of online, I wonder when Capcom is going to stop maintaining the servers. I am disconnected more times than I would like but the infrastructure is lag free (although I have been experiencing some weird occurrences lately) and miles ahead the vast majority of Wii games. |
