Well with my copy lost and my Wii broken(again), it seems like I won't be playing with you guys for a while.

Thanks for the help. I was hoping we could free hunt but nobody showed up! Anyways, what the fuck is up with the Rathian gear? Protection -7 made me take one hit kills from the Rathian. Fucking ridiculous. I'll stick to my Gobul gear for now (only downside is slow recovery rate), and I'm working on some Jaggi+ armor. I need to do way more advanced hunts - I'm broke and out of material.

What do you mean Protection -7? Usually, the skills only kick in when you get +10 or -10.

Yeah I was wondering about this...I think the "skills" that kick in are extra boosts, but every plus or minus stat that you carry with you has some sort of effect. I only have RecSpeed -6 with my Gobul gear but it's noticeable how slow I recover.

OK, so here's a very dumb question:

I just accepted my first Guild question. How the hell do I get out of the town?????????

You've probably already figured it out, but go all the way to the left side of town by the docks to depart on your quest.

You're not the only one who got stuck. A notorious amount of people had problems with reading/missing stuff for some reason.

I think someone else complained about the start of the game being so "slow," without realizing that it was a tutorial of sorts.

I think I'm beating that GD Cave of Ordeals tonight instead. I had enough good stuff early in the day (morning sex, washed my car for the final time this season before waxing it tomorrow, became #1 in the Rock Band 3 Wii nation on Vocals [Expert, 100%, first Gold Stars EVER] for Funk #49 by James Gang, transferred my Subway points that I've been meaning to move) that stupid Twilight Princess will sink me back down to my standard "slightly grumpy" baseline readings.
