I think I missed something, but it appears as if you're done?
I think..playing so much in SUCH a compact span of time impacted your overall enjoyment. I've been playing fairly regularly since the day it released, and the game still feels freshish to me. Heck, there are some things I haven't done yet, and I definitely don't have all of the Sword/Shields that I want.
I definitely can't beat huge guys on my own (solo) yet, and until I can do that, I won't be totally satisfied.
I don't think playing so much in so little time impacted my enjoyment. If anything I'm a bit guilty I played so much in so little time. I still find it engaging, I just don't want to play it anymore for various reasons. One of which I feel is I've spent too much time on it, which is ironic. I might go back to it but it's going to be a long time before I do. I guess a hiatus is a better word than a retirement.
Oh well. Sucks you burned through it so fast...I mean, we hunted together what four or five times? I find playing once or twice a week is the best for this game. I do that for many games, though.
