I made a deal with Anand that I'd wait for him for Big A, and do it with him (for mine), and then help him for his as well.
He is imperative to the quest..or something.

Anand is a Gunner at heart. I think he's planning on having one for next time.

i wouldn't wait. do the 4star 2 Jaggi quest alone, do the one in area 5 first, then the one at4. cap both if u can. when you eat hope for the crazy lucky skill and wear a jaggi mask (remember when i told you guys to farm the jump four jaggi event for the mask... well now you know what you need it for... and if you create luck decorations and add to the mask skill it's even better.

to complete the game I need:

6 agn+ claws+
3 firecell stone
2 bird gems
1 mohran scale+
4 mechalite ore
2 luminous organ
and a few other things... i spent an hour yesterday buying everything and organizing it... i wanted to cry when ifound out i needed 2 more bird gems.

this would cover the sets... but...
the question is... should i get all the other weapons too?

i'm at all hammers, some lances (the best ones), most sns, few axes... idk... damn i'll be playing this game til 2012 :o

I started making some things "just for fun" and watched my bank account drain. I'm still recovering..

I had to sell a bunch of stuff just to get a planned upgrade on one of my Sword/Shields. Blargh.

I'll try that 2 Jaggi deal when I get home. That'd be sweet if I got Gems.

With those, I'll be Morpheus Blade ready.

i sold hundreds of stuff in bulk "thinking" i'd get them back (including gems etc)... bad choice. now i just farm ian or lagi (they have high item drop rate at end of quest) and save the rest.

also, now that I got all these new sets i got to mine adv and farm hvy armor spheres... so annoying

Holy shit, another bad day. My Monster Hunting confidence is shattered. I shouldn't have tried to fight the Advanced Rathalos+ with Baggi armor. One-hit K.O.s all around.

I kind of own the Barioth, though. He's my bitch.

Yeah we did pretty well vs. the Barioth last night. It's funny how hard it is to pitfall trap him, he's always jumping around.

I always get this "incomplete" feeling when the mission is to hunt a monster and we end up capturing him instead. Feels like a cop-out.

I think you gotta get that thing in right off the bad. Anand had poor placement, somehow, that one time. I have no idea how that single spot was incredibly avoidable. Yuck.

I kinda feel that way about capturing stuff, too. We can kill/carve next time. I got my Claws, woooo. I'm icin' it up all over the place now.

Yeah, that was kind of hilarious. He kept jumping right over it. Emergent gameplay humor!

Capping gets you different stuff, Mikey. Better stuff. And often more. Especially when you have Capture Expert, as I did. Plus, it's always a relief to cap fools. You don't have to move stuff around to store the bits, and getting punked right at the finale of a monster fight is horrible.

Mustache, I think you took the record for ineffective traps yesterday. So many wasted traps...

My Rathalos performance was hella shameful, though. And I just learned about Golden Sombreros for the first time (along with Platinum and Titanium Sombreros)!

I wasted at LEAST two on that one mission alone. And I know that Mikey neglected to bring Tranqs specifically when I asked him to. I chucked 5 Tranqs right over a pitfell Jaggi's head, while Mikey beat on him w/o making him sleepy..
