amiibo is certainly turning out to be a big thing in Nintendo's eyes. Whether or not the rewards for utilizing each amiibo is worthy to you, Nintendo plans to implement all sorts of bonuses. It appears right now that every amiibo is meant to do 'something' in each game though games not featuring certain characters may have more limited uses or lesser-valued ones. We've had plenty of threads on here for amiibo and I'm sure that will continue. Still, I wanted to establish a general discussion thread that doesn't have a specific focus or thought. @Mr_Mustache Those are probably just people who got the bundle, opened it, and are selling the Wolf Link amiibo separately.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions has a special edition, I'm not sure if it's available on Amazon or only GameStop, but since it exists then Amazon will list the game by itself as "standard edition."

So far only announced for Japan, but Monster Hunter amiibo!

I was going to post about this, haha! Yeah, Monster Hunter Stories will have its own Amiibo! How about that. Won't launch until October this year...and so far, only in Japan. Still...interesting!

I'm sure it'll come out stateside. Amiibo too. I like these amiibo but as a non-fan of the series, I have no desire to get them. They look great though.

The AC overexposure (and FE overexposure) has been one of Nintendo's several puzzling decisions this gen to me. I've always enjoyed the AC series but I don't know why they're suddenly going all-in with it in terms of marketing. And we don't need Isabelle's face plastered everywhere nowadays either.

I'm liking Summer Isabelle but not as much as my new Waddle Dee! It's excellent!

My GameStop told me that they didn't have any extras of the Kirby ones (save Waddle Dee), but when I was in there the other day, the other 3 were overflowing off their pegs. I dunno.

Not that I can recall? I only remember him from the DKC / Smash games and Diddy Kong Racing, though he is probably in more somewhere.

Hmm, looking it up online it appears he is in a ton of Mario spin-offs like the sports games, etc. Still, I think of "Donkey Kong" as a separate series from "Mario", even though they did both come from the same origins more or less.
