I love how Nature's impact on Stats, as it is fairly clear what difference they make. IV's however are so cryptic and unclear it's not even funny.

I'm super-slow at Zelda as well. Just got past the 2nd or 3rd dungeon. I probably shouldn't be playing these two "big" games along side each other...

I find that one dungeon a day is a nice pace for me. Unlike Pokemon, where I was on one route for about two weeks. My fault, not the game's.

I just captured the legendary, really enjoying the game. Now I'm giving my cat team a break and leveling up some other cool pokemon.

I just want again, does ANYBODY know how the hell to get a Meowth in X/Y?

Unless someone has found one in a friend safari, it dosent look like meowth is in game. Wait til the pokemon bank opens up i guess.

FUUUUUuuuuuu...... I didn't know certain PKMN weren't in the game.

Preeeeetty sure I caught a Purrsian, so I think I can breed Meowths outta that. (Unless I'm thinking of my girlfriend catching one.)

In other news, I went to Barns and Nobel to check out the strategy guide for this game (for after I beat the story and if I still want to "catch them all" which I kind of think I may want to try) and it was sealed in plastic and $20. BOGUS. How am I supposed to know if it's going to be useful to me if I can't flip through it?

Also how are they going to sell something you can basically get for free on the internet by making it HARDER for people to decide if they want it by sealing it? So dumb.

Wow, Miltank was way more difficult to capture than I anticipated. Finally got the cow on my team, but man that was a struggle.

Someone got two shiny Mareep in one hoard battle. That's a 1 in 16,777,216 chance.

I guess, when you think about it, all the thousands of people playing Pokemon X times all the thousands of battles that each person has, it probably happens pretty often.

That they're shiny? The pink ones are shiny. Only difference between shiny Pokemon and regulars are that the shiny ones are different-colored. There's about a 1 in 4000 chance of encountering one in the wild in X and Y.

Don't they also have slightly higher stats?

That's pretty unbelievable. Maybe the odds of a second shiny in a horde are less than a regular shiny? Too bad you couldn't catch both.

I caught a shiny Voltic in Pokemon Black. I didn't even know what it was at first.
