I got through it. Just wasn't prepared for the length and intensity ie. I didn't stock up on revives or potions.
The last dude made me black out but that just sends you back to the last Poke Centre so you can stock up and muscle on through. Not sure what's in store at the end here...

That hippo is awesome. I used him in Black since Dugtrio isn't all that great anymore.

@Super_Conzo You "died" on Victory Road? It was a long slog, sure, but it was easy as pie! I had like 500k on me at the time, too, so I had 99 of almost every item. (50% off O-Powers FTW! Spent my entire game leveling every O-Power to max!)

My O-Powers never seem to level up.

@Pokefreak911 You're using them on passersby, right? Max level is 3 for each one to my knowledge. First level goes by quick, but second level takes about 2 full refills of energy, and 3rd level takes like 6-7 full refills of energy. (And to my knowledge you have to use the highest level to get a level up)

I'll mess with it when I start playing again. Taken a little break from Pokemon because I burnt out on it. Played over 100 hours in the span of 3 weeks.

Did you literally do nothing else? 100 hours in a week leaves less than 10 hours a day for sleeping-eating-life. That's something if you pulled that off.

And yes, I died. Could have turned back and went to the Poke Centre but I was so damn jaded that I got tunnel vision. Must... finish... game...

You haven't been talking to the O-Powers man in each hotel in the game? Basically they do exactly what they say... They each last 3 minutes, the Bargain O-Power for example, gives you a discount at shops, up to a 50% discount at max level. The attack power O-Power increases the attack stat of the leading Pokemon in battle, there's one for increasing random battle rates, one for decreasing it, one for each stat, one to help hatch eggs, one to raise Pokemon capture rates, one to raise how fast you become friendly with them, one to restore HP, one to restore PP, one to get more exp from battle, one to get more money from battle...

Must give respect to the final stages of this game. After the drudgery of Victory Road the subsequent battles where a good challenge and with great music/settings. Glad I played the game but am equally glad I can now put it to rest (and make a start on a certain other quest).

Every time I battle online in this game I want to battle online 1,000x less than the last time. Had a fight where I was doing great... then I had literally 6 moves miss in a row for no discernible reason besides RNG? Well that's a lot of fun! Let dice rolls solve my fights! :|

i'm guessing your opponent was abusing double team in which case that is a bit mean spirited

@pokepal148 My opponent used zero moves to enhance evasion.

What moves were you using then,

I forget which moves I was using precisely, but after the first miss I made sure to use only moves with 90+ accuracy, still had a bunch of misses. I'd totally use Odor Sleuth if ANY OTHER PERSON IN THE WORLD GAVE ME THIS ISSUE. Blargh! The 4 move limit drives me crazy! Up it to 6!

So is it just me or can you use the online trading thing to get any Pokemon for any other Pokemon? Because I've been trading garbage Pokemon for Charmanders and Bulbasaurs. I feel like I'm getting away with something...
