So, did anyone else buy this game? The $20 price tag may seem steep for a downloadable title, but it seems pretty sweet so far. It's beautiful and is a very nice blend of 2D platforming / puzzles with a bit of combat thrown in the mix.
Also it is up to 3 player online co-op. Let's play together!!!
I definitely plan on downloading the game as soon as I get my Wii U. Should have had the damn system on launch day, but someone had to buy me the damn system as a xmas gift...which I'm not happy about at all. Still pissed off about it. I'll probably die and never get to play any of the fucking games.
I dunno, I tried the demo and PS3 and didn't really have that much fun. It was gorgeous--unbelievably so. But the platforming was nothing great, the enemies weren't fun, the controls were floaty, but the puzzles seemed good. Maybe the demo was just the weakest part, but it wasn't much fun to me.
@Cubed777 I think it is mostly about the puzzles though, the platforming / action are just there as a means to that? I dunno, I'm not super far yet, only played through 2 or 3 areas.
No one bought this on Wii U and wants to play some co-op?!
I got it on PSN and played some co-op a bit. If it's anything like that version, it's bad. Not because it doesn't work but whatever progress the one that joins the game makes is completely lost once they leave the game. Only the host will get to save whatever they've done.
So I've never played Trine (everytime I hear the name I keep thinking of the Materia Keeper in FFVII). But from the description it seems to be a puzzler in the vein of The Lost Vikings? Would this be accurate?
Pretty much except only one character is present at any one time. You aren't for instance placing the guy with the shield in front so the others can pass. That's with Single Player anyway, I haven't played multiplayer.
