And that's where the DLC debate always gets so sticky. A game being "complete" is purely subjective - and with no true standard to measure by. I mean, Mario 3 has that thing in 2P mode where you could both land on the same space and then battle old school style. In the scheme of the game, it's entirely insignificant, but if the Virtual Console version kept that out and charged extra for it, it wouldn't be cool right? That's just how I feel about a lot of DLC. Especially because stuff like that DOES happen ... [ link] (CTRL+F "DLC") So, yea, I suppose the Nintendo versions of DLC are ... less evil? not evil? Still, it's not something to be happy about. At least not in my case, but, as I said... I know I'm alone being completely anti-DLC. |
