I was actually cracking up... i was playing with NO ARMOR LMFAO!!!! it was obvious people were acting funny... didn't know what to say... what do you say to an HR99 player who's got the jho hammer but no armor on LOL LOL LOL LOL you had to be there.. at the end of each quest instead of carving i'd say NO ARMOR WINS AGAIN!!!!!!!! and everyone LOL'd I beat Ian+, Baggi+, Lagi and Barroth (keep in mind no armor = defense 21... basically at any +quests one hit and you're DEAD

I will not be allowed to Level Up until I complete my Urgent.
And I won't be allowed to do my Urgent until I finish my 5 Stars.
And I won't be able to finish my 5 Stars until I have some help.
And I won't be able to have some help, unless Chack shows up, Fabz stays, and/or you hit 5 Star yourself.

honestly it's not looking very good, you will not be able to win Alatreon the way you play right now. you need a WAY better armor (defense at least 420) and a powerful team and most importantly a different server (yes. I know you want to play with your friends but besides me and chack you need a 4th)

I never understood why you open rooms in mindegard... where no one can come help you and your friends are way below your hr

I am also not sure if you want to sleepbomb Alatreon but that's the best way to go at least to win your urgent. You will need the bombardier skill (uragaan+ or charm), the morpheus knife, and lots of sleepyfish.

I suggest you a few things:

a) open a room in recruit server so that others can help you even if you don't know them

b) get the uragaan+ armor set and max it (it seems that many people don't put too much weight on upgrading their armor sets

c) join an Alatreon city and tell them you have to pick the quest. many times people will tell you to leave (at least if you use your current armor and setup) but you never know... there's still some cool people out there that might give you a chance. if you tell them you got bombardier charm and you're good to go and they will let you stay

d) even if it's me and chack, it's not going to fly. you need a gunner besides the three of us to help sleep Alatreon faster

e) start some Alatreon quests ALONE to learn his movements. Alatreon is quite easy and predictable and not that fast when compared to Jho and even Barrioth or Diablos. Jho is ultimately the harder and stronger boss, Alatreon has simply more HP

my ideal Alatreon hunt is:
me and another player with bombardier and Dragon Hammers/weapons (Jho or Alatreon pref) and two other players with sleep weapons (gunner and a morpheus knife or sleep lance), lots of bombs and sleepyfish

AFTER you finish your urgent by sleepbombing then you can go ahead and try Alatreon without sleepbombing but it's going to be a LONG fight (he seems to never die that way and honestly because of that it's not that fun... just tedious)

"Oh, this guy came in and was complaining" and "man, these guys are really rude," etc. I don't want/need to play with assholes EVER. "Many times people will tell you to leave." What the H, man, I go in Mindgarde to avoid those people. I thought I could rely on my Friends list, and I should be able to. You and Chack have some deal (well, its more a one way thing..) where you apparently can't be in the same room together. Whatever.

If I can't do it at the risk of failing/waiting?, so be it. Guess what: Somebody HAD to have been 50~ and passed it without stronger folks. I dodge a LOT more than people I know. I've also upgraded my Sword/Shield weapons as much as I can when able. I've had the Morpheus Knife for a loooong time. Unless I need Bird Wyvern Gems, then I'm mistaken, yet working on it..

dude i'm not trying to get you upset. you are absolutely right, there's A LOT OF ASSHOLES out there (trust me, I had a hard time finding the right teammates for Alatreon too for the exact same reason) so I'm with you on that but trust me you might find cool people eventually as I did. I am willing to play with chack to help you pass Alatreon but if you don't want to sleepbomb then we definitively need a 4th player with massive weapon attack and/or a healer. I'm just being truthful. Alatreon does massive damage and his HP is endless. i'm sure chack agrees with everything I say.

you don't want the uragaan armor or you don;t want to sleepbomb? you don't need the uragaan armor if you can get the bombardier skill (probably replacing the cap guru skill slots as you can't cap Alatreon) or perhaps you don't want to sleepbomb Alatreon at all. your choice.

there is no offense in what you are saying to me, i'm just trying to help and suggest you ways to get you to 51.

I was in your positions months ago when I had to face the 5 star urgent and since no one from here was ready I had to humbly rely on the recruit server. yes there's a lot of assholes out there but that's why there's a lot of cities to warp to if one has dickhead players.

Anand and I are workin' on the Big D, chippin' away at that with Chack. With you, we could surely take it down and raise our confidence.

Fabz, you love the recruit server though. You love meeting new people. I don't. I love hangin' with my buddies, growing with them, becoming stronger together. I remember the first quest I had with Anand. Blue Kelbi Horns. And we ran like HECK when we found out what Unstable meant. We've spent COUNTLESS (210 + 150 or so) hours since then, and now with Anand to the + quests, we're kinda back at square one. That much more meaningful(?) and exciting than finding some guy who is cool for 45 minutes and then I never see him again.

I'm already capped at 50. I'm..near the point of accepting it and/or waiting until someone comes gets up there. I don't see DSLeet too often, but he's gotta be close, if not past that. Chack is huge. You're huge. Anand is on his way. Mikey is around the corner.

I think it'd be a massive moment when Negative World surpasses Lv50 without the aid of outsiders (I know Chack helps a lot, but he's a "close" buddy), and it just so happens that I'll be holding the flag. You're the 1st guy past that threshold (as far as we know..), and thats pretty awesome.

In any event, this isn't going down tonight. I'm glad you do know how I feel though.

Alright people - I updated some HR rankings from what I pieced together from recent posts - Since it's the 1st of the month..I just wanted to shout out to everyone - There is a high chance I have some HR numbers wrong - nows the time to speak up.

Here's a noob question: Does HR Ranking allow you to unluck stuff (weapons/armor)? Can you advance faster online (I've done the 1 star quests online and still have that Q bird on the solo 3 star)? Would you advise more team battles/quests then go back to a solo quest to kick ass? Ok that was like 3 questions...

I was just testing some weapons out in the moga woods (I tried the lance.. nope - I'm a hammer guy through and through) and tore up 2 Great Jaggies that were appearing lately with a hammer - Fire Element included..

I'm also paying more attention to Jewels - I really only put one on a weapon but now my armour can hold them so I put some on them as well.

Ok, one more item to collect in Metroid and I'll be on.

Metroid other m is so boring and repetitive. I am at the last boss and I have no interest in finishing the game.

While mh3 "supposedly" is repetitive, the fun factor comes specifically with the fact that you play with new people all the times (and this shoutout/point goes to mustache)... The different playing style if strangers makes the game fun

It us true, at times you get a kickass team, other times you get people that are clueless...
That's what makes the game interesting all the times...

I like getting a more well crafted team. An efficient machine is able to overcome anything. Learn, grow together.
Maybe I'll need the variable you hold dearly as my levels get higher? I'm not sure. Right now I'm in "play with what/who you know" phase.

Mikey took down his first (?) Agnaktor tonight with a little help from myself. Last time we ran that mission with Anand, Mikey went 0-3, haha! So congratulations, man! He's up to 28, too, knocking on 31.

Yeah thanks for your help... Mikey was too busy playing Metroid to come on earlier so I had some help from a couple of people to do my first Urgent Quest - I couldn't move on without it.....

Thanks to you and Mikey though, I leveled up and saw some different monsters for the first time. I can see how the Q bird is that much easier with more people ... I try and use Cha Cha but he just keeps getting killed.

How do I help him out? How to I give him items like food (he keeps complaining that his tummy is growling) How do I make him not suck??

Keep using him until he levels up, get better masks, better spells...

You can give him items, too. But I'm not sure if he'll use them intelligently.

Smerd is probably read as some modification of 'merde', maybe? I dunno.

I just want to let you guys know that you all suck. Does anyone play BEFORE 11PM EST around here?
