Oooh.

We knew this was going to be set early on in the timeline but..."The quest lays the foundation for the events in The Legend of Zelda™: Ocarina of Time". Sounds like a full blown prequel. Should be interesting.

EDIT: Oh uh... 40 days before my birthday

Just about three months away. Good thing I have games like FAST - Racing League and Kyotokei to keep my Wii warm during the wait.

EDIT: 122 days before my birthday.

@Shadowlink That was revealed in the E3 press materials, but yeah, pretty exciting. I'm also excited by the way it'll supposedly really integrate the dungeons and the overworld, although it remains to be seen how much that'll actually happen.

I'm getting pretty excited! No more media for me.

EDIT: Errrr.... Only 186 days from my birthday! Pretty darn close to six months (and presumably 185 days till Guillaume's, if my calculations are correct).

Way to ruin the flow.

Is it sad that I'm not really excited about Skyward Sword? I'm not even going to buy it at launch...

EDIT: 86 days until my birthday.

I'm not excited for Skyward Sword either, though I'm sure it will be a quality title. I'll probably pick it up sometime next year.

Funny, I'm not that excited either (Zelda fatigue?), but I'm sure I'll buy the game on November 20th.

@canonj

Same thing here. Zelda games never do much for me but I still end up buying them... besides, what else is there to buy for the Wii? I haven't bought a single game for it this year.

@VofEscaflowne

Don't forget about Monster Hunter Tri! Actually, all the retail Wii games I've purchased this year were 2009 or 2010 titles that were on sale (Monster Hunter Tri, ExciteBots, Sin & Punishment, Metroid Other M...I paid a total of $26 for those 4 games!).

Anyone hankering for Wii games, don't forget about the quality platformers de Blob 2 and Lost in Shadow...they should be cheap by now, check 'em out. They have anon's seal of recommendation.

Two days after my birthday so this will be a nice belated birthday present.

It releases on my unbirthday, what a coincidence.

@VofEscaflowne

Nothing this year at all? Not even WiiWare or Virtual Console?

@GameDadGrant

Was Fluidity this year...? I forget. And I did buy Super Adventure Island II... but VC titles doesn't count. Unless if it's Lufia II. DAMMIT NINTENDO!
