In a move that is sure to please a few fans of the Dragon Quest series, Square Enix has announced that they are bringing a sequel to the DS exclusive release Dragon Quest Heroes Rocket Slime to the 3DS.

Scheduled for release this Winter in Japan Dragon Quest Heroes Rocket Slime 3DS will take players to the seas facing enemy pirates in ship based battles. Personally I cannot wait for this and I hope you are all just as excited, looks like the 3DS is on a roll with some great third party support looking to close out the year. The games Japanese website has launched here so be sure to keep checking for updates

I will likely skip this game, as I didn't like the first one at all. Even if the reviews and the buzz are positive, because they were for the first game, which makes me wary.

I liked the first game too. Will be interested to see what they art style is like in the sequel, I hope they stick with sprites!

I find myself decidedly underwhelmed by this. The first was OK, but I don't know that it actually warranted a sequel.

The first was amazing! It was one of my first DS games and it is one of my favourties.

Love the combat.

The game was awesome.

I hate how the 3DS is getting more and more games. PS3 or 3DS? To hard of a decision.

Why is the 3DS getting more games a bad thing!?

@Zero

It is a bad thing because the 3DS sucks.

Just kidding. It sucks because I usually am limited to one handheld and one console, but I was thinking of getting a PS3 to change that. However, with the 3DS getting these games... it kind of sucks to choose between.
