Originally released for the 3DS in 2012, Revelations received an upgraded, enhanced port for consoles/PC in 2013. This entry in the Resident Evil series retains the over-the-shoulder viewpoint and some action elements, as seen in Resident Evil 4 and 5, while bringing back a lot of the adventure/puzzle/horror elements that were prevalent in the older Resident Evil titles. Revelations, both in its original release and in this upgraded edition, was well-received.
