Ninja Gaiden III.
A remake of Ninja Gaiden 3 released in March of 2012, this Team Ninja developed / Nintendo published game will fit nicely among the Wii U's "core" game collection sorely missing from from the Wii. Like other Ninja Gaiden titles that follow Ryu Hayabusa, this one has him as the centerpoint of the story focused on a mysterious cult of alchemists looking to destroy the very world as we know it.
It is a hack and slash action-adventure pitting Ryu against waves of enemies, the famed ninja having to use pre-existing techniques to the best of his abilities, and also some moves new to this game such as "Steel on Bone" allowing one to cut clean through an enemy in a slow motion sequence. Thanksgiving turkey carving can't come soon enough.
Razor's Edge is scheduled to attack store shelves at launch.
