Developed by TT Games and published by Nintendo, Lego City Undercover is an open-world action-adventure game loosely in the vein of
Grand Theft Auto.
Assuming the role of undercover cop Chase McCain, players will traverse Lego City looking to make the next big bust. Donning several disguises, Chase gains new abilities to do things he otherwise couldn't do, such as break through a lock as a robber, or demolish a giant rock as a miner. He will also have dominion over a number of vehicles, and is able to build new objects out of loose bricks he finds. The Wii U GamePad will give players a leg up receiving hot tips from base, and also allowing them to scan for criminals, for example. Slapping on the cuffs has never been so satisfying.
The bricks break later this year on Wii U.
