The following TOS applies to the Negative World website, the Negative World Discord server, and any other platform related to Negative World.
1. Respect othersA. Bigotry is not acceptable. Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, etc. Just don't do it.
B. Don't troll other members. Yeah we like to joke around with our friends but the question you should ask yourself is: Are they laughing with me? If not, then don't do it. And if they tell you to stop, then definitely don't do it.
C. Don't share anyone's personal info without their consent. Feels pretty self-explanatory.
D. Just like, you know, be nice to people in general?2. ContentA. Negative World is a Nintendo site first and foremost. You don't have to like everything Nintendo does, but if you're not here for Nintendo on some level and are consistently negative towards Nintendo, we consider that trolling / spamming and will act accordingly.
B. No politics unless they directly affect Nintendo. Look, we have tried politics, it never ends well. Let's stick to things that directly affect Nintendo and not make it about politicians or parties.
C. Avoid posting NSFW content.We are technically an 18+ site but we also have a lot of public content. Nothing overly graphic or sexually explicit is allowed.
D. Don't spam. The spam bots that show up probably aren't going to read this, but if you show up just to spam, you get an insta-ban.
E. Self-promotion is ok if you are a part of the community in other ways. We don't mind people sharing things with their community. But if you're just here to push your stuff and don't participate in the community in any way, that won't fly.
F. No illegal content.Pretty self-explanatory.
3. PenaltiesThe penalty for breaking the TOS will range from warnings to time outs to bans. Moderators will make the call based on the severity of the incident and whether the user in question has a history of incidents. If you need to speak with someone about an incident, please contact one of the moderators.
