After accidentally setting the DeLorean to reemerge a few weeks late, Episode 33 triumphantly appears to brighten the day of Negative Worlders all over the … world. Episode 33 represents part one of the two-part E3 review spectacular. In part one we hear from Greg (TheBigG753) about Nintendo’s year one strategy, from Anand about big E3 moments from the past, and from Jamie (PogueSquadron) about the Wii U GamePad.

Each guest also faces the wrath of five E3-related question from your hosts, Stephen (DrFinkelstein) and Joe (NinSage). Their answers may shock you**!!

So come on. What have you got to lose besides precious, precious time?

The musical interludes come from the beloved Pikmin and the theme music comes from Negative World's owner, Zero.

Here it is fans! I hope you're still interested in talking E3! Life outside of the show slowed down the release of this episode but the next episode shouldn't be too far behind since it too is already recorded and is currently in the editing process. This episode has been edited by Ninsage and I think he did a fine fine job! So give it a listen and enjoy what some of your fellow NWers have to say about E3.....

I am quite estranged. I want to hear what happens when my flashlight batteries run out. Gooch's words were a savory fragrance and unique bitterness that came together for a mature flavor. A wholesale rejection of hype philosophy.

Hey, I love the Gooch! But he ain't prime-time.

Even though he kicked Bill Trinen off of the stage during the 3DS conference.

There has never been any issues with people pre-ordering a Nintendo console and the store not receiving enough. The issue was with the xbox 360 when it was released, there was not enough to cover the pre-orders.

As far as with Nintendo consoles, now there might have been a store here or there that could not cover the amount of pre-orders, but nothing on the magnitude that made the news nationwide. If anything, its just people not knowing what they are talking about when mentioning there was never enough NIntendo consoles to cover all the pre-orders.

I prefer to camp out cause that way I receive my console sooner. Usually the places around here that have preorders, I would have to wait until 10am or later the morning of the console's release, plus I am not a morning person. I would rather have my new console late at night when I am wide awake.

@Anand are you talking about The Gooch, or is there another Gooch in the gaming world?

@gamewizard65 GameStop has been very good at midnight releasing their consoles. I preordered my 3ds there and they opened up at midnight for it.

@Scrawnton
Not Sakaguchi. Eguchi.

E-Gooch.

@Anand alright, i was confused for a second. So we have The Gooch and E-Gooch. I really hope they know we call them that.

DrFink snored for Joe's pick, but then totally cheated and picked 3 games (including the game that Joe picked)! C'mon!

Good fun, I like the more conversational style. Pumped for Part 2, woo!

And yes, I'm in Chat right now. Come to chaaat!

@Mr_Mustache

Your sarcasm detector cannot process snores? =)

@NinSage

I thought he was snoring because it seemed like an easy way out? Almost as if to say, "yeah, everyone is gonna pick that." Thats cool though, should be a good game!

Listened to the podcast today and really enjoyed it. The format worked out really well. Not too many people on at once and the show kept moving nicely. The Greg Leahy bit was a great end bonus as well!

@Koovaps

Glad you enjoyed so much Koovaps. Expect the second E3 episode to happen sooner than this one.

I enjoyed this episode! (Nice job on the editing, Joe!) The guest rotation format made for an interesting look at the different reactions from several people.

Oh, and Stephen, you're the first person I've heard that has a slightly different take on pronouncing 'Pikmin.' (Or maybe I'm just hearing things?)

I pronounce the 'pik' like the word 'pick,' but you seem to pronounce it more like 'peek.' It's all good.

Yes, that was fantastic.

You know, I've heard "Peekmin" before. I actually like it better than "Pikmin"... it's more fun to say.

It's like how some people say Pok-eh-mon and some people say Pok-E-mon and some people say Pok-uh-mon.... very interesting.

BTW, I reached out to the man himself (Mr. Leahy) via SwapNote and told him to take a listen. He seemed flattered =)

@Anand

What's the point of having Wii U at $250 without Nintendo Land and $300 with Nintendo Land? What's the difference between just having it at $250 and selling the game for $50?
