It's episode fifty-one!! That's like, one more than fifty! In this episode, DrFinkelstein and Ninsage discuss various games they've been playing and more Nintendo Direct discussion.

As per usual, the theme music comes from Negative World's owner, Zero. The interlude music is from Etrian Odyssey IV for the 3DS!

Please comment on the topics, the podcast, the guests, hosts, etc. on Negative World! You can also reach us through Facebook or Twitter. We'd love it if you went and gave us a glowing (but honest) review on iTunes also!

You can find an enhanced version of this podcast in m4a form at Negative World Podcast Enhanced or on iTunes.

Enjoy the show!

P.S. Be sure to check out the awesome new Kickstarter campaign from Keiji Inafune, the father of Mega Man, currently still with many days left! Lets get it to that Wii U stretch goal for Mighty No. 9!

Is the enhanced version available yet? It's not showing up in iTunes.

@roykoopa64

I always release both versions simultaneously (which sometimes can cause overall delays), so I don't know why you can't see it. The enhanced version shows up in my iTunes feed.

You should be able to download the Enhanced version from this thread also.

I love how all the Australian animals were all talked about when I wasn't on the podcast.

Another excellent podcast! I dug all the Animal Crossing banter. Sadly, I fell off that game a bit. Too much time with those dumb streetpass games, especially growing flowers. I should really try to play AC at least a couple times a week.

I'm super glad Etrian Odyssey IV got some loving as well! Glad to see you're enjoying it, Joe. The first game is what got me to join NW. Guillaume joining NWR made me check out this podcast, and I believe the EO game club was mentioned. I joined the site and the rest is history. That said, these games suck up many hours. The first one took me casual play over a couple years. I'm currently about a third into two. I need to play that more too. I do own both III and IV, and did check out the demo for IV. All good stuff. And I fully intend on buying and not playing the new remake as well!

Again, great podcast guys! I could listen to you two talking about anything.

Challenge accepted! Random cast coming soon. J/k

I haven't played etrian but I had to showcase the music more than normal this ep. I loved it so much.

Still listening to this episode. Just wanted to say it's amazing what you did, Stephen, for your girlfriend in Animal Crossing. Very thoughtful!

@Pokefreak911

Wasn't it though?? It's the main reason why I decided to buy EO4 (besides liking the demo that is).

Every time I hear @DrFinkelstein say "Peek-Men" instead of Pikmin, I remind myself to kick him in the shins next time I see him. (j/k)

Nice job on the "date room" in New Leaf though, dude. Legit. And I agree with your frustration on region-locked DLC - it's just dumb. ESPECIALLY in this case, since it's a cooked turkey dinner; a traditional dish for Thanksgiving. WHICH IS AN AMERICAN HOLIDAY. Not a Japanese one. er, right? How often do Japanese families sit down for a turkey dinner, anyway? That bird would be difficult to eat with chopsticks.

@GameDadGrant

I guess I just say it a bit more like Miyamoto (Japanese). He would say Pi as Pee so Pik would be Peek. Bill pretty clearly says Pikmin as in pick-min. Also, I don't say 'men'. It's "Peek-min" or even like "Peek-man" which could be subdued and come off like Peekmen.

Have I showed you the date room? Maybe I should post a photo of it, pending approval of the lovely lady who inspired it.

Plus too, about DLC, Japan got the 7-11 set... there are a billion 7-11's in Michigan and presumably the USA. Why we didn't get anything like that is CRAZY to me!

@DrFinkelstein

I haven't seen the date room...if I see you online, I'll ping ya and if you have time, I can swing over to your town real fast.

You could also just take a pic if you wanted, and shoot it over to me via SwapNote if you like. (you should use SwapNote more often, you goon! )

Is the 7-11 stuff region locked? One of the guys I StreetPass regularly has all that stuff in his place. I wonder how he got a hold of it all, if it is locked out from us Americans? Same way you got your turkey, I guess?

@GameDadGrant

He must have paid for it. It's Japan Only region locked. I've attempted to buy it in a Streetpass house. Doesn't work. And yeah, just say hi next time you see me online. I'll let you know if I have time.
