Welp, at least there is a Wii VC title. It's the first one to have a working online mode, too.

I was hoping Kirby's Block Ball would show up, at least. There's a video saying "coming soon" on the eShop. What the heck is NoA waiting for?

Wow, still no Virtual Console on the eShop. Huh.

Oh well, online Street Fighter II on Wii is an insta-buy for a fighting game fan like me. So that's something, at least.

I keep hoping for Super Mario Bros. 2 and 3. Or maybe some GBA games. Or the Zelda Oracle games.

Is anyone else buying Super Street Fighter II on Virtual Console?

Anyone?

...... anyone?

.....................anyone?

...just me then? ok.

@GameDadGrant

It's pretty cool that it's got online play! Too bad there'll be no one to play it with.

@GameDadGrant

If I didn't already own the SNES cartridge, I may've picked that up. Sorry, hombre.

Get Fortune Street!

They still haven't released every version of Street Fighter II?

Man, even I can't mount a defense for this week.

@rebonack

Too true.

@Mr_Mustache

But the SNES version doesn't have online play! The Virtual Console version DOES have online play!

@Secret_Tunnel

I think this may have been the last version of Street Fighter II that was still outstanding.

Nothing for me; I'm not into Street Fighter and I don't have a 3DS.

Releasing ports of Street Fighter II and charging almost $10 for them in 2012 should be a criminal offense.

(aka: Nintendo still hates the 3DS VC). [news]

Pretty sure an interpretation like that should be in "editorial" ... not "news." Unless there's a quote from Iwata about hating the 3DS VC =P
