I'm a bit hesitant about the multiplatform status... has there yet to be a 360/PS3/Wii action/adventure game where the Wii version didn't end up a bit gimped? But hey, at least Suda is still showing Nintendo the love. And Mikami involved as well, seems like the perfect team up. But erm... EA? Who would have thunk it? Then again with Mirror's Edge and Dead Space coming from EA it looks like they might finally be making real games. It also seems like Q Entertainment is involved in some form, what is with all these big team ups lately?!

It's exciting to see Suda working with, what we'd assume, is a budget about 10 times bigger than usual. Mikami seems to be acting more like a producer, giving creative input but it's Goichi's baby.

So long as the game requires some IR control, and hopefully WM+ for melee or object manipulation, the Wii version could be the one to own. You don't play the graphics, especially if it's in the patented Grasshopper style. =)

True, but it seems a lot of multiconsole games get designed with the greater horsepower in mind and then end up stripped down with smaller environments, less enemies, various glitches, etc. for the Wii.

On the other hand, most multiconsole games have been from developers who halfass on the Wii in general. Whereas Suda (No More Heroes) and Mikami (sort of part of Platinum who is making Mad World) at least seem to view the Wii as a real platform.

We'll see. I guess this is the rumoured Mikami game? Or is there another one? I thought the rumoured one was supposed to be part of the Sega / Platinum publishing deal...

I have to say, I'm very, very excited to see what comes of this partnership. After I finished No More Heroes, my first thought was, "Wow, this was a great game. I'd love to see Suda51 make a fully realized game with a larger budget." And now, I seem to be getting my dream come true, coupled with another fantastic developer. With this team, and EA's budget, I really don't see the Wii getting the short end of the stick this time. Suda is pretty pro-Wii, and when asked what his greatest concern about the project was, he responded it was making the Wii version. That right there shows that he's concerned about the Wii version, and he'll do what he can to make sure it turns out all right. This is probably right after Pikmin 3 as my most anticipated game.

That's an eclectic mix of most wanted games, WindWaker - but I know exactly what you mean! And that's the beauty of Wii.

I'm praying for Nintendo to whip up a Pikmin 3 trailer in the next few months to make up for the admitted disappointments of E3. I played Brawl for the first time ever this week, and when the Pikmin stage came on, with that distinctive music, it hit my addiction nerve hard.
