If you're a European Club Nintendo member gearing up for the 25th of March, the official launch date of the new Nintendo 3DS handheld console, then we have some exciting news for you…

The first 3,000 people to register their new Nintendo 3DS hardware with Club Nintendo will receive - on top of the 750 Stars that every registrant of the Nintendo 3DS system gets - an individually numbered collector's item T-shirt - with a design that might surprise you in more ways than one! If you're not yet a member of our Club, no need to worry, you can sign up at our Club Nintendo page! Stock is limited to 3,000 T-shirts, so make sure you snap 'em up before they're gone!

Note: Final T-shirt design may differ slightly from image shown.

The good news Nintendo 3DS is bringing to Club Nintendo doesn't end there! As well as Nintendo-published titles, Club Nintendo members will also be able to register Nintendo 3DS games by other publishers, for a whopping 250 Stars each!*

There are always brand new items arriving in the Stars Catalogue that you can trade in your collected Stars for, so keep your eyes peeled for updates!

Nintendo 3DS will be in shops March 25th 2011.

Why not sign up for a (free) account?

The only way I would ever want a shirt like that is if it could make something pop out of my chest.

Come to think of it, I could see there being a lot of money to make off of cards that make people/animals/people-animals pop out of your chest.

@Secret_Tunnel

If the image on the final T-shirt is an AR card then it should make something pop out for the person playing.

Nice to hear that third party games also earn points for registering them. Hopefully this translates over to the North American version of Club Nintendo.

I definitely hope third party games earn us American gamers some points too, considering I'm getting SSFIV.

And that's a nice Club Nintendo promotion. I hope we see something like it here too. I wonder what kind of surprises these shirts will hold.

@warerare

I would think any kind of crease would make that impossible, no? The AR already seems pretty fussy when using the cards themselves (from what I've read).

That's pretty cool. I don't understand why NA always gets shafted when it comes to Club Nintendo stuff.

@Pandareus

I dunno, I have seen a massive AR card working that has been taped together using about 6 pieces for A4 paper, so I don't think its that fussy.
