Nothing mind-blowing, but some interesting stuff to remember. Points of interest:
-3DSWare will include tons of Game Boy games, including Link's Awakening DX and Super Mario Land. -You can transfer your DSiWare downloads over to 3DS. -3DS is region locked mainly due to parental controls; ratings differ depending with each region. I'm sure privacy is a reason too but they don't mention it. -Battery life is 3-5 hours as mentioned, but the system includes a charging cradle which makes charging a lot easier. You just plug that into the wall and you're good. Of course, removing the 3D effects will save some battery.
I'm going to be frank, I don't like interviews with presumptions questions like these. Bill was clearly being cornered into giving answers that he normally wouldn't have. There seems to be a lot of confusion as well. For one, you CAN transfer 3DSWare titles from one 3DS to another, so I'm not sure how that got misconstrued. Also, the journalist seems to be trying to squeeze blood out of a turnip. It is obvious that Nintendo is not ready to commit to an announcement on e-shop just yet, yet the guy just keeps pressing the issue. He could have gotten some real answer if he hadn't been so insistent on his own little agenda.
