December 29, 2016 – Mario Kart 64 hits the Wii U, and Castlevania Dracula X hits the 3DS. That's it for games. A couple of new 3DS themes and a lot of sales as well. Be sure to check out all of this week's updates on your favorite digital eShop at noon eastern today.

Why not sign up for a (free) account?

What happened to the official breakdown? Don't have access anymore? I tried to find it myself a couple weeks back and failed.

Which one is Dracula X again? Is that the crappy version of Rondo of Blood?

Where's my Castlevania 64? I can't be the only one who likes that game.

Yes, it is.

@DrFinkelstein

For such a small list, it wasn't worth my effort. I still have access though.

(I'm also recovering from strep throat, so I'm lazy this week. It'll be back to normal next week.)

I did a little research and it's actually quite a bit different than Rondo of Blood, they reworked some of the levels etc., but in general yeah, it's sort of a down-port that most folks don't seem to love. Since I really enjoyed Rondo on the PSP which apparently is a really good port I don't see many reasons to go back to it.

Oh man that PSP, miss that little guy! Sure you can download most of the game on Vita, but it's not the same!

So it does require special access though right? When I went looking for it one week I ended up copying from another site and then writing in my own (rather goofy on purpose) summaries, lol.

@DrFinkelstein

Yes, and somehow, I got it. So I'm press official and stuff.

@deathly_hallows

Having played both, you can see the similarities are there...but it's far different. Deaths feel cheaper, on purpose (if that makes sense).

I had credentials for E3 but those are usually easy to get. Pretty cool you have further. If you ever wanna share… ;) (dunno if they're user specific though. The E3 ones aren't.)

@deathly_hallows

It's a different game compared to Rondo of Blood - though it covers the same story.

Castlevania 64 was a blast back in the day!
