@JargonDoes that thing really count as a stick?  But damn, hell yes! Just wish that blue colour was available for the smaller model. I dunno. Maybe I will get the new XL.we'll see what the price is like. I expect it to come in at $200-250 here. Not bad.

As I said in the other thread, my resisting temptation to get a 3DS XL has really paid off! Assuming this comes out in NA for the holidays, it's going to be great getting this and Smash Bros. for my birthday/Xmas. I'll be able to play games that use X again!

Just got the XL last fall, so still too early for me to pick up a new model. Xenoblade is interesting. I haven't played it yet, but now at least I have a choice when the time comes.

Whoa. I'm interested to see how much better the 3D spot is. I'm a TOTAL sucker for Nintendo's handheld redesigns, and this looks great. Also, Xenoblade? Wow! I wonder how well it translates to the different hardware.

I'm kinda torn on which version to get. On one hand I love the screen size of the XL. On the other hand I love the colorization of the regular one. I'll probably get the XL one....... Hopefully Nintendo will come out with better colors for the NA launch.

Holy carp! I have a regular launch 3DS. This is a pretty significant upgrade. I hope it comes out in time for the inevitable(?) Majora's Mask remake. Much as I loved OoT 3D, a better viewing angle and higher quality, bigger screen would be really welcome.

Ok, more Xenoblade is always great and everything, but I'm not liking this whole only-playable-on-new-hardware-iteration stuff. That better not become a thing already. EDIT: Ok, guess I missed that part of the OP. Well, fuck this shit then. Don't like being forced into buying new hardware mid-gen.

Haha, can you guys imagine if Smash 3DS was only possible on this system? That'd be such a stinker move to pull. Granted, I'm not as upset about Xenoblade's exclusivity since it's a port, but future original "big" games only being possible on New 3DS would be a bad move.
