OH! Wait! It's on the Wii U e-shop? That's a horse of a different color! I thought it was regular Wii.
Dang, that makes a difference... now I might have to go support the darn thing. I never played it past the first 5 minutes, and that was when I was young and hated RPGs even more. Maybe time to see what all the fuss is about.
Ten bucks? Way to milk the eager fans. Has any other SNES game been ten?
I'm not personally sold on the game as is right now. I have a lot to play anyway. Ten bucks just looks wrong. Ah well. Glad its here for the fans' sake.
@DrFinkelstein Theoretically the licensing reasons that made it so difficult to get over could have added to the costs or something. I don't know if that actually happened though.
I'll again raise the question: $10 for a digital copy, or $100+ for a Super Nintendo cartridge? I know licensing was supposedly an issue that kept the release held up in the past, so if that extra $2 helped get it digitally published, then that's fine by me.
There are three games I need to download this week... Just, I can't be downloading them this week since I spent most of my petty gaming budget on the Steam sale.
I own Earthbound, but I'll grab it soon. Shantae, I shall download you next week. Attack of the Friday Monsters, patience.
Also what a fun Direct! I love when they throw some campy stuff in there, like the AC opening. (And this was so much better than 100% Iwata. Love the guy, but all-Iwata makes for a lousy Direct.)
