Get 'em before they get you!

Part of Nintendo's Light Gun Series (among those, most notably Duck Hunt and Hogan's Alley), Gotcha! comes to us from LJN. It is based on the 1985 movie of the same name, something LJN is notorious for.

Using the NES Zapper, players shoot fellow paintball competitors en route to a flag (which must also be shot to "capture" it), and then returned to base. While the enemies are dispatched with the light gun, the stage is scrolled left to right (or vice versa) with a standard controller. More ammo can be found in boxes scattered about the level, and unused rounds will equate to bonus points upon completion of an area. There are three landscapes (Woods, Warhouse, Snow Fields) that repeat in order should you make it to Round 4 (and beyond), each time your competition getting a little faster on the draw.

A shoot or be shot situation, quick reflexes are a must to make sure you're holding the flag at the end of the day.
