The first appearance of Ms. Pac-Man on the NES (three years after her male counterpart paved the way), presented in the form of Tengen's signature unlicensed black cartridges.

Unlike the arcade version, players had the option of toggling a number of features. These include game difficulty, which level to start at, variations on board shape, a "Pac Booster" (which speeds up Ms. Pac-Man), and most notably allowing the ability to actually play a simultaneous co-op game with one player taking the reigns of Pac-Man himself, in addition to traditional alternating two-player gameplay.
