BIT.TRIP Presents... Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien Review (Nintendo Wii U eShop) (9.5)  by

As this game is set to release next week, I figured we might as well start discussion now. Who else is excited? Will it be better than the first game? WHO KNOWS?!

Also, in a strange show of complete honesty, Gaijin just posted about the build differences. It kind of sounds like the Wii U version might be the best version? Unless you have a good controller for your PC? The PS3 version is missing some stuff and the Xbox 360 version has the worst load times, apparently.

Is it some inside joke to give it such a long title? Lol. Im excited for this and havent watched much media. I have a good feeling that it will best the original.

It's a play on how the games were named in Japan.

Very pumped for this game. I recently 100%'d Bit.Trip Runner in anticipation.

Excited. Supposedly it will be on the eShop next Tuesday!

Also, there's no space in "Runner2".

@ludist210 But then what will this game be called in Japan!?

What is the price of this game going to be?
Posted: 02/25/13, 23:20:19
eShop says TBD. I'm assuming it will be similar to other eShop titles, so somewhere between $9.99 and $14.99.
Posted: 02/25/13, 23:22:35
Yep, $15. For Runner2.

No space.

Is this dropping this Thursday?
Posted: 02/26/13, 03:36:58

Tomorrow, actually!
Posted: 02/26/13, 03:54:40

I wonder if they'll release it at midnight like they did with The Cave.
Posted: 02/26/13, 04:11:09

This is a possibility!? Guess I know what I'm doing tonight!

I can't wait for more people to get a chance to play the BIT.TRIP games. Hopefully this one sells through the roof and Gaijin can get really crazy with the next one- maybe make that BIT.TRIP RPG they've talked about.

@VofEscaflowne They did? Mother. Now I need to stay up. It's probably Pacific time too isn't it?

If it's the same as 3DS eShop releases, it's ET.
Posted: 02/26/13, 05:10:39
I will gladly sleep now and get this later, lol. It ain't going anywhere, and I'm way tired.
Posted: 02/26/13, 05:11:20

It (maybe) goes up eastern time!? Hyyyyype.
Posted: 02/26/13, 05:59:37

If it does a midnight release.

I have to get a life. Interpretation: I'll hopefully be getting BTR2 by 12:05am.

I had no idea this was even coming out already.

Welp, now I'll be anxiously waiting the next 20 minutes to see if it pops up on the eShop
Posted: 02/26/13, 06:39:04
Well I guess no midnight release
