I don't know much about shmups, but I'm learning, and apparently the DoDonPachi series is the cream of the crop. This game is getting delisted this week, so I picked it up!

Fun! I need to play a lot more to rely understand what makes it great. I never thought much of Sin & Punishment until I sat down and attempted to beat it without credit-feeding, and it had way more depth than I initially thought. I assume one of the greatest arcade games ever made is the same way!
