Yesterday I've beaten Mario & Luigi: Superstar saga and it was really good. With the Mario and Luigi series returning Superstar saga is a really fun game to play.

I played through it last year again! I'm surprised I didn't post about it.

Much shorter game than I remember, but enjoyable. I think the Paper Mario games resonate with me more, but I didn't finish either Paper Mario 64 or Super Mario RPG when playing them again these past couple years, so I might just be Mario RPG-ed out. Didn't even check out the TTYD remake.

The new Mario & Luigi looks visually awesome, but I'm curious if it'll do anything gameplay-wise to set it apart from its predecessors.

I think the original Superstar Saga is the only RPG that I've ever played through twice. It was just such a fun and (importantly for replays) tight package that the nostalgia hit me years later and I went for it.
