Got all the Diamond time medals in the first three chapters! Need to do the same in the last three chapters, and pick up a handful of hidden trophies that I haven't figured out how to nab yet, and that's it for the current content. Aside from the weekly challenges, which have all been pretty cool so far! Last week was extremely low gravity, and this week was backward levels. I have a good feeling I'll be playing these weekly challenges on the regular.
The game's full of stuff like this! Some shortcuts, like this one, are pretty obvious. Others are a lot less so, relying on exploiting the physics and curves/corners of the stage, or with powerups. Super fun looking for ways to shave off time in this game.
You can of course just watch the world record's replay, but I've only done that after I've already picked up the Diamond time medal. I wish you could watch more than just the top 5 replays. It'd be especially cool if you could only watch replays that were just a bit faster than yours, encouraging you to shave off time gradually to beat those just ahead of you instead of just showing you how the world record did it at any time. |
