This was such a great game. I was never even a huge fan of the pieces dropping from the sky action / puzzle games (well, except for Kirby's Avalanche), but I put many hours into it.

I too quite enjoyed Meteos despite block drop puzzlers not usually appealing to me. Sakurai done good.

I like block drop puzzle games and hated this one, lol.

Well, maybe that's too strong. It just wasn't a good fit for me. I ended up having more success swiping randomly and hoping for the best!

Nothing can ever be Pokemon Puzzle League. It has ruined me forever.

I had this game, but sold it to help pay for Pokemon Pearl. Kind of wish I had it back now, but c'est la vie

I love Meteos! The gameplay was really dynamic and fun, and I liked making huge chunks of the stage to try to lift off the ground. The Sakurai presentation was the icing on the cake.

Great game is great.

Did you know they made a Meteos game for Xbox 360?

@GameDadGrant They actually made a bunch of them after the first one, including a Disney version on the DS.

But uh... you probably already knew this since it's handheld related.

Good old Meteos. I bought it with my Version 1.0 brick DS system. Liked it a lot.
