I got a Droid Incredible 2 for free. I know it's not game related, but it's still pretty cool.

Went to Frys with two buddies. We had a game plan arranged and we failed badly. Only ended up walking out with the Bourne Trilogy and Back to the Future Trilogy on Blu-Ray for $15 each. Went in for a Kinect (my friend), Zelda 3DS (me), Wii (my parents), the movies, and a laptop (me). Kinect and laptop don't go on sale until 6am, something they neglect to mention unless you read the fine print.

In a few hours I will hit it again for the laptop, my friend has given up on the Kinect, and I just bought the 3DS online. I'll see if I can snag a Wii for my parents but I'm not holding out much hope. Either they make none of those things anymore or the Holidays are just this crazy. I only ever went out shopping on Black Friday in the afternoon. I will now go back to that.

Got home really late....not a retail release, but VVVVVVV is $1.24 on Steam. So, yeah, it's practically free.

Also that ends at 12PM EST so you might want to get on that.

Origin's Online Store: Batman: Arkham City....$24.99. Wow. THAT was quick. Glad I waited a whole 3 days. Man, if I got it earlier this week I would be PISSD.

I purchased a new TV for the family room. The wife and I wanted to move the 58" plasma back into the bedroom and we were eying the 70" from Sharp. I guess Bestbuy and other retailers had there Black Friday pricing starting online on Thursday, so after a wonderful meal I purchased it. Didn't even have to wait in line for it, now I just have to wait for delivery....

I got some sleep, and a handful of weird dreams.

I was going to buy Metal Gear Solid HD Collection on Kmart online. After tax and shipping (lowest is $5.50), it totaled $43.13. I think I'd rather just get of my butt and go to a local Kmart while on the way to the car show today and save those $5.50 on shipping. I'm not wasting any money on gas since I'm already heading out that way.

Edit: I'd also buy some stuff from Gamestop.com if it weren't slow as molasses. I've been trying to buy a boxed copy of Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition since 3 in the morning, but the site keeps getting stuck.

After three trips and half the day wasted, I have successfully completed my Black Friday. Haul;

Zelda Edition 3DS
Printer (for my home "office")
New Laptop (personal use)
Madmen Seasons 1-4 Blu-Ray
Back to the Future Trilogy Blu-Ray
Bourne Trilogy Blu-Ray
Wii + NSMBWii (parents)

A lot of money was spent, but meh.

Everything about Black Friday disgusts me...

I'm not even going to leave the house today.

Nothing. Argentina.

@DrFinkelstein

Anything involving a windfish? : P

I ordered Rayman Origins on the Wii from Amazon for 29.99. Looks like a great game.

I'm slightly tempted to jump on Rayman Origins but I don't really need it right now and I suspect it is going to bomb hard and be down to that price (r lower) by the time I want it anyway. I'm also tempted to jump on Uncharted 3 for $29.99 at Best Buy but it is sold out online and I don't want to run around stores trying to find a copy. I'm also tempted to look at Gamestop's B2G1 free but that happens all the time.

Basically, I don't really need any games right now, so nothing it jumping out enough for me to buy.

I got a 20$ Nintendo 3DS card with NO TAX. It's not like this was part of the Back Friday deal but hey, we finally go the cards in Canada!

@VofEscaflowne

They're not supposed to be taxed. You pay tax on the eShop itself.

I haven't gotten anything because I'm working, and I bought most of the games I wanted for the Holidays already, anyway. And I have few gifts to make this year, our family decided to cut back and just do a secret santa a few years ago.

So yeah, I'd rather not even bother looking at the deals, I have too many games as it is.

Ohh right. I was confusing it with the Wii and how it adds 2000 points instead of actual money. Dammit, and I thought I was saving money here Way to ruin my Black Friday.

I ordered Rayman Origins for 360 for $40, Pulp Fiction on Blu-Ray for $4, and season 4 of the Big Bang theory and season 2 of Modern Family for $9 each - all from Amazon.

@VofEscaflowne

It's good to hear that they finally have eShop cards available in Canada. I'll probably use my Best Buy reward points to buy a $20 card.

@VofEscaflowne
Good to know! That's going on my Christmas list.

I ended up going to Gamestop and getting Heavy Rain for $15. No idea when I'm going to sit down with it though, way too many games to play right now, don't want to start a new one.

Was hoping to find some used games for their B2G1 free sale (specifically Radiant Historia) but they didn't have much of anything I wanted.

@gamewizard65 Nintendo really dropped the ball by not selling the bundle with a gold nunchuck. Any other color just looks tacky paired with the gold Wiimote. I'm also using a black nunchuck.
