ROUND ONE: Super Smash Bros. Stages Bracket! (LIP'S STICK BRACKET) Results

The second round means we're chugging along! At least one more N64 level makes it through! Could our favorite come from the very first game? Time will tell...

Lives to Smash Another Day
(56) PictoChat (Brawl)
(13) Great Bay (Melee)
(12) Fountain of Dreams (Melee)
(20) Pokemon Stadium (Melee/Brawl)
(21) Princess Peach's Castle (Melee)
(47) Smashville (Brawl)
(3) Hyrule Castle (N64)
(18) Mute City (Melee)

Close Call Award: Pokemon Stadium and Mute City both won by a single vote.

No Hope Award: Yoshi's Story in Melee had the worst go of it. Earning only one fifth of the votes cast.

Seven out of eight, I did pretty good in this one.

Just three for me, but hey, I'm surprised it was even that many!

EDIT: Whoops, I misread the pictures a bit. I got four again, even more surprising!

Temple deserved better.

@Jargon
I like the Temple myself, but Great Bay is one of my favourites. Hoo-rah!

I actually like the Yoshi stage, but the Pictochat one deserved it.

And while I like the temple, Majora's stage is much more fun.

WarioWare lost?! That's one of the best stages!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To be fair it lost to another great stage, but still. WarioWare! So unique!

@DrFinkelstein Ah, at least it was a nail biter.

Poor WarioWare.

Dang, I feel bad now that I know I could've saved WarioWare. That was the closest one for me, because I really like that map. I just remember being blown away by Mute City back in the day when Melee came out. Nowadays, I'd rather duke it out on the WarioWare map, for what it's worth.

Don't miss the next bracket! It's half over almost!

I actually am a bit surprised WarioWare lost, since it was up against Mute City and people didn't seem to be liking the moving stages as much as most others.

I'm not surprised Temple lost, didn't think it was all that popular and it was up against the other Melee Zelda stage.
