Is anyone excited? It'll be a look at games being released by the end of the year, so I expect some footage of Link Between Worlds, the 3D Mario game, and maybe even a moment on Wind Waker HD since the physical copy is not out yet.
Hmm, I doubt they'll announce anything new so I'm not super excited. I'm definitely getting LttP 2 so I don't really want to see footage because I'd like to go into it spoiler free, and I'm not really interested in the Mario or DK games.
Maybe they'll have a few surprises for eShop? That would be cool!

Plz show updates on ALBW, Mario, and DK. That's all I need. Mario in particular. My hype for that game is still so high and I can't tell you how many times I've rewatched vids of those E3 levels.
I'm really curious what's going on with the Yoshi game. I wouldn't be surprised to see an overhaul eventually. WWHD ended up looking very different from the initial reveal as well.
Not holding my breath for anything brand new. That's for next year's Direct.
This Direct is confirmed just 2013 titles? For both systems?
Titles releasing "later this year," so yeah... no way I'm waking up at 7am to watch it, but it will be nice to see some new details on 3D World and such.
What could they possibly show of DK and Mario beyond new suits/levels/abilities? I heard they were being coy about Mario's soundtrack... I hope that coyness pays off and we get some kind of reveal showing live music (not orchestral since it wouldn't even match). That'd be huge for me. My only concern regarding that game is the soundtrack. I need me some inspired music.
Anyone think a digital incentive or special edition could be coming? If it's another early digital release I'd be annoyed but also feel forced. I'd take what I could get for Mario in particular, I think.

GoNintendo quoted the message they received from Nintendo as saying: Visit www.nintendo.com/nintendo-direct tomorrow, Oct. 1, at 7 a.m. PT/10 a.m. ET for a Nintendo Direct focused on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS games launching later this year.
Well, as we've seen in the past, just because they're focusing on one particular category doesn't mean something else unexpected won't get thrown in. It's best not to count on it though.
