So, at some point I decided that we should have an "introduction" comic. Something that worked both to introduce both the main character, and the webcomic itself. In that sense the "Let's DO this" may hold a bit of a double meaning...
However, things have already changed a lot since this comic was made. We're still trying to decide if we even want a "main" character versus having a cast of characters who all get equal billing. Or maybe something along the lines of Peanuts where there were a few tiers of characters (I'd say Charlie Brown and Snoopy were tier one, Lucy and Linus etc. were tier two, and eventually you get to characters like Violet and Shermy...) yet at any given moment any of the characters can step into the spotlight for a bit. That might be the ideal, no?
Also character's personalities and traits are changing quickly. Hopefully with a bit more of added depth.
Anyway, as we made the decision to put this one at #2 it's a bit late to work as an introduction to the "main" character / webcomic anymore, and I'm not even sure if it sets the full tone of the webcomic either (I think many our upcoming comics have a bit more to them), but it's still a part of the history of The Cloud Chasers.
Aha! Good one. It remembers me of 2 days ago. I decided to play Final Fantasy Legends II on my Wii & seeing me take the Wiimote, my sister said: "So you are gonna move alot!?" I was like, "Well, no... not at all". Then she replied "But it's a Wii, right!?". Then I started Final Fantasy Legends II & she said "OUCH!! My eyes!!".
Final Fantasy Legends II on an HD TV causes blindness: CONFIRMED!
Ha... I think it is more just that when we made the single comic, it was fun to make them look like us, but the more we develop the various characters, the less it makes sense to have any single ones based off of us? Because really, Shirley and I will be putting ourselves into a lot of these characters, in some fashion.
