It's Sonic's first full-3D outing, Sonic Adventure, port of the Dreamcast classic remastered for the Nintendo Gamecube. This time around, Dr. "Eggman" Robotnik is back and up to his nefarious deeds, collecting the Chaos Emeralds to unleash a powerful ancient monster upon Sonic and his pals. Fully bringing the blue blur into a 3D environment, Sonic Adventure features a mix of speed-focused platforming levels and exploration-based Adventure Fields, as well as multiple types of gameplay for each of the 6 playable characters. The port includes several additional features, like improved graphics, a Mission Mode, unlockable Game Gear Sonic games, and Metal Sonic.
Also included are the Chao, a special A-Life critters introduced on the Dreamcast, which can be hatched, raised, and raced as virtual pets. It is possible to carry your chao with you wherever you go, via the GCN-GBA connection and download of the Tiny Chao Garden.
