Halo Wars is an RTS spinoff of the Halo series that stands out as being one of the few good real time strategy games released on a home console. Halo Wars used enough familiar names and objects from the Halo series that fans of the FPS's jump into the game without too much trouble, but still had enough strategic depth to be worth playing for fans of strategy games.
