Discuss Nintendo Land in its
official discussion thread!
The amusement park of your dreams has become reality! Come to Nintendo Land where there is Nintendo-centric fun at every turn, and a different adventure around every corner.
Currently referred to as the Wii U's version of
Wii Sports, Nintendo Land offers a means to see just what the Wii U GamePad can do, expose players to classic Nintendo franchises that they might not have otherwise enjoyed, and also provide a friendly experience for the entire family through the use of unique mini-games. Asymmetric gameplay is heavy in this game, giving remote handlers a different way of playing than the holder of the Wii U GamePad.
Of the twelve attractions, these six were the first announced:
-Takamaru's Ninja Castle, using the GamePad to fling ninja stars forward with a swipe.
-Luigi's Ghost Mansion, where the ghost can see everyone on the GamePad, but the players cannot see the ghost on TV.
-The Legend of Zelda: Battle Quest, where three remote players have swords, and the GamePad player has a bow and arrow.
-Animal Crossing: Sweet Day, where players collect all they candy they can before being caught by the GamePad player.
-Donkey Kong's Crash Course, inspired by the original game, players navigate a girder-laden obstacle course.
-F-Zero, based on the racing game
F-Zero.
