Commando is a top down, arcade shooter similar to later games like
Ikari Warriors and
Jackal. You play as Super Joe, a stock American soldier who runs through the jungle shooting people. It's a fairly well-remembered game, and sometimes considered a predecessor to Bionic Commando, even though the gameplay is entirely different.
