Hudson Soft's sequel to
Bomberman.
Framed! Our hero is pinned with horrible crimes committed by the evil Black Bomberman. Thrown in jail, White Bomberman's goal is to escape, clear his name, and bring the guilty party to justice.
The gameplay formula remains the same as the first game, blowing up blocks and destroying enemies before finding the exit and advancing to the next stage. The same types of powerups are available as well. Your bombs are powerful though, so much so that they can destroy those items, coax more enemies from the exit, and even take your very own life. Use caution.
A password system is in place to get you back where you left off (with your items) should you need to stop playing, and a series of entertaining vignettes will make the journey that much more enjoyable.
Bomberman II is also multi-player this time around. There is room for a two-player vs. mode, and even a three-player Battle Mode (NES Satellite and NES Four Score sold separately)!
